Cowboy Trade & Open Mike!

Bring your trade bag!  After an incredible dinner provided by Salt Lick BBQ, there will an opportunity to socialize, compare goods and trade some of the gear you're no longer using.

Trading gear is age old cowboy tradition and a great way to turn something that's been collecting dust into something you can use.  One man's trash is another man's treasure after all!

You never know what someone might be looking for so bring whatever you've got!  From old hackamores, mecates, spurs, cinches, hobbles, ropes and chaps to bits, saddle bags, stirrups, hats, headstall, romels, get-downs and anything else you might want to part ways with!

Special guest, Carole Leroux of Merritt BC's own Hat Dr will be offering to talk hats.  Carole will discuss sizing, quality, custom and handmade vs manufactured, head shape, style, current trends and more!   You won’t want to miss Carole’s presentation as she will also have all the tools needed to measure heads for shape and size at no charge!

Bring your guitar, your banjo or your harmonica!!!

The Stage will be available for anyone who'd like to share some tunes!  Or if you prefer, find a quiet corner to jam with friends.  This will be a laid back, supportive and welcoming space to enjoy friends, food, music and more!
